Holding on to what you have

What does it feel like to hold onto something you know won’t last forever, the wheel chair isn’t the hard part. Not knowing what you’ll be able to do next week or even tomorrow that’s the hard part, doing what you can regardless of where you are in life is so important because you never know what tomorrow brings. My struggle lately is I am getting weaker it isn’t happening so fast that I can’t react to it in a healthy manner, though it is happening. Knowing that my strength will always be less then it was before is a strange feeling, yet part of my life’s challenge it is a journey one I couldn’t go alone. Having support from family is so important, also being able to face this challenge has given me a new understanding for others. We as humans need to hone our empathy not disregarded it, having understanding of others struggles and appreciating what they go through is something we could all work on. At the end of the day it isn’t a competition, but a team effort. It’s easy to forget we are all on the same team, that’s all for now. Thanks for listening, see you next time!
